In this work, I tried to get closer to the idea of “melting” into a spiritual state, inspired by dervish rituals. Here I focused not only on movement, but also on the loss of sense of self, as if the body is transformed into an energy spinning in an infinite space.
She relied on free and interlocking lines to emphasize the sense of rotation and flow, and used bolder and hotter colors to reflect the inner passion and the beautiful tension between mortality and liberation.
The body in the painting almost fades into the background, in an attempt to create a visual state in which the viewer feels that the figure is no longer separate from its surroundings.
The presence of birds here is not just an aesthetic element, but a symbol of free movement and release, like an extension of the soul itself as it breaks free from constraints.
For me, the work is a visual experience that tries to convey a sensation that is not seen, but lived.
