Alqil Dhamar Ali

The work explores a blend of archaeological vocabulary from the Sabaean civilization, focusing on the cultural and philosophical development that accompanied it. It also highlights the mythological symbols associated with ancient Yemeni religion and points to the complementary relationship between men and women in the construction of that civilization. Compositionally, the work is built around a main element of sovereignty represented by the king (Dhamar Ali), and behind him the symbol of the god (Il Maqah), reflecting the importance of these symbols. A color treatment was used to connect the elements of the composition together, creating an overall harmony between the vocabulary of the work and its background.
