Hidden Mercy

​This work explores the concept of mercy inherent in divine concealment. The character struggling to open the gate represents the human struggle—unaware that the door’s remaining closed is a protection against unseen harm.

The text suggests that when a path is blocked, it is a sign pointing toward a more peaceful destination prepared by God, no matter how beautiful the original path may seem. Herein lies the meaning of “And God writes for you what is best in matters of which you are unaware”—for what appears on the surface to be a deprivation may in reality be a hidden mercy.
