Memory Keys

In the deepest recesses of the soul, where stories slumber, waiting for someone to awaken them, faces gather in complete stillness, as if in silent prayer or a state of endless contemplation. This painting tells the story of the journey from darkness to liberation; the small wooden doors and scattered, weathered brass keys are nothing more than symbols of the secrets, answers, and opportunities we seek in the recesses of our memory.

​And from the midst of this stillness, strands sprout, stretching out like wings or roots, and vibrant butterflies with enchanting orange and turquoise wings take flight, proclaiming that every lock in the soul has a key, and that behind every silence lies the labor of a new birth and complete freedom, allowing the self to soar far from all constraints.
