Dr.art_Demon
In this work, the artist personifies his inner demon in the form of a female, as a symbol of the deep emotional and psychological struggle between repression and expression.
The eye difference is the key to the first reading:
The right eye represents the artist's own eye - clear, sharp, and powerfully present.
The left eye is blurry and cloudy, symbolizing the eye of his female devil, his inner confusing and troubled side.
The features stretching from the forehead to the nose to the devil's fangs reveal traces of accumulated wounds and suffering. These cracks and stretches are not a visual distortion, but a psychological record of pain and secrecy.
The open mouth refers to an attempt at expression through speech; an unfinished attempt. The artist deliberately suppresses his feelings, while the “female devil” tries to push him towards disclosure. However, his insistence on focusing on his impressionistic surrealist art, and his avoidance of direct emotional confrontation, turns the reticence into a violent internal pressure.
From the intensity of this repression, the devil's fangs emerge around the jaw, as if the repressed emotions have found their way out physically after being blocked psychologically.
The long neck symbolizes the artist's repeated attempts to not completely stifle his feelings, in a constant tension between repression and the desire to be free.
The work reflects an intense struggle between the artist and his feminine demon - a struggle between sensation and love on the one hand, and fear of emotional harm on the other. In the end, the artist consciously chooses to detach these feelings and execute them internally, preferring to suppress them and focus on his art as the only safe space for expression.
